Operations Manager - safety and compliance (St. Louis, MO)

Highbridge Logistics supplies farm and food customers across the St. Louis region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
