Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Savannah, GA)

Highbridge Vista Manufacturing Group is a Savannah manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
