Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Savannah, GA)

Redstone Lakeside Freight Partners is a Savannah logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
