Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Jose, CA)

Redstone Pine Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
