Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Ridge Auto Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 150 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
