Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Diego, CA)

Foxglove West Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around San Diego, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 77 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for safety inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
