Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Diego, CA)

Nova Fox Construction Group builds commercial and industrial projects around San Diego, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for project schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
