Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Willow Construction Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for materials orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
