Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Bright Fern Energy and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 184 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Track performance measures for outage response and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
