Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Diego, CA)

Northwind Glen Facilities is a facilities company in San Diego with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for cleaning schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
