Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Diego, CA)

Bluepeak Hollow Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around San Diego, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
