Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Antonio, TX)

Bright Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
