Operations Manager - safety and compliance (San Antonio, TX)

Foxglove Stone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Antonio, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
