Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Salt Lake City, UT)

Foxglove Kestrel Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Salt Lake City plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
