Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Maple Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 903 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
