Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Richmond, VA)

Bluepeak Cobalt Construction Partners delivers building projects for owners across the Richmond region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 200 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
