Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Richmond, VA)

Summit Cobalt Construction Associates builds commercial and industrial projects around Richmond. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
