Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Reno, NV)

Highbridge Keystone Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Reno, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
