Operations Manager - safety and compliance (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Forge Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Reno. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Reno. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes.
