Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Rook Water Authority Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
