Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Highbridge Kestrel Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
