Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Northwind Orchard Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Las Vegas with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Las Vegas. • We reply to every applicant.
