Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Yarrow Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
