Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Oak Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for client sites and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
