Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Westbrook Wren Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 555 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints.
