Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Silverline Harbor Freight is a Philadelphia logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
