Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Ivory Inspection Services Associates and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 811 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
