Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Rivermark Orchard Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Toledo, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
