Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Rivermark Sparrow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Kansas City, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
