Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Redstone Juniper Inspection Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
