Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Amberfield Hollow Environmental Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
