Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Cedar Wilder Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
