Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Cedar Maple Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Toledo area. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
