Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Hollow Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
