Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Ironwood Forge Freight Group is a Nashville logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
