Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Greenridge Mill Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Milwaukee design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
