Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Bright Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
