Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Cedar Union Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Tulsa, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 683 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
