Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Fernwood Union Inspection Services is an inspection company in Fort Worth with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
