Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Pine Manufacturing Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
