Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Greenridge Yarrow Foods is a Honolulu food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
