Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Silverline Pike Construction is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
