Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Bright Forge Freight is a Sacramento logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for proof of delivery and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
