Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Amberfield Oak Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 271 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration.
