Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Stone Energy Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for hardship programmes and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
