Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Summit Keystone Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Rochester region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would join a large organisation of about 555 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
