Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Redstone Rowan Foods is a New Orleans food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our safety and compliance. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track performance measures for cold storage and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
