Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Bluepeak Harbor Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Reno. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on safety and compliance. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
