Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ridge Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be safety and compliance. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
