Operations Manager - safety and compliance (remote)

Ironwood Quill Transit Planning is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on safety and compliance for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
